We aim to be one of the London Borough of Merton's most accomplished and friendly choirs and consist of around 20 mixed voices, drawn from the Wimbledon area.

‘Springtime & Love’
We go back to one of the supreme love poems, the ‘Song of Songs’, to provide the texts for much of our music in this concert. Many composers have set music to these texts and we have chosen Palestrina, Walton and the contemporary British composer, Howard Skempton to illustrate their beauty. Delius’ and Moeran’s part-songs evoke springtime and love is never far away.

Brahms ‘Requiem’
This version of the Requiem is performed with Piano duet accompaniment and we are pleased to form a joint choir, for two performances, with Hampstead Chamber Choir, as a fitting climax to our season. ( www.hampsteadchamberchoir.org )
